The Human Scale Education Movement’s vision is to drive towards an education system in the UK, the organisation and design of which is based on the ‘humanity of scale’ and the ‘primacy of relationships’. Between 2012 – 2015, HSEM will be focussing on three programmes of work.
We will lead a national conversation with a coalition of partners to present the case for Human Scale approaches in our schools. This conversation will include those with responsibility for the design and organisation of other social institutions such as, young offenders’ institutions, the prison service and social care for the elderly. Support for school transformation
Working with national partners we will bring new approaches to support schools through consultancy services, continue to develop our international partnership programme and create regional development and research communities hosted by Human Scale Education Schools. Read More…
