Towards Schools where People Matter – a study of the Human Scale Schools project. by John Harland and Barbara Mason
In January 2006 Human Scale Education, in partnership with the Gulbenkian Foundation, initiated the so-called Human Scale Schools project. The project, which ran for three years, offered grants of up to £15,000 to a total of 39 schools across the country to enable them to implement different kinds of human scale practices. The project, which received additional support from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, was the subject of an independent evaluation. Schools within Schools by Wendy Wallace
